Our Mission
We're committed to strengthening rural communitites.
John Wadsworth and Jeff Grandia came up with the idea for REDi health while working together at Health Catalyst, a healthcare outcomes company that went public in 2019. They noticed a big gap–small and rural healthcare organizations didn’t have access to the powerful data analytics larger systems rely on.
In 2021, they founded REDi health with a clear mission: to help rural hospitals maximize their existing systems through hands-on, tailored analytics. Since then, John, Jeff, and the REDi team have stayed focused on making a real impact.
As a recent personal health challenges for the REDi team have shown, bridging the gap between top urban health systems and rural communities is more important than ever. As our co-founder, John, says, our purpose is to “bridge the divide between the top Urban IDN health systems and our rural communities.” With the data now available in rural areas, there’s real potential to match the level of care seen in urban settings. We’re committed to using that data and working with experts to improve care coordination in rural hospitals.
